WOMEN Control MATTRESS Market!!!

Mattress trends seem to be changing toward the end of 2012 going into the year 2013.  Early 2012 was how comfortable can you make my mattress and how long can you warranty it for. The later part of the year and going forward into the 2013 calender year seems to be more of an aesthetic design and how cool can you make my mattress, And while you are at it, how long is my warranty?

If you look at Mattress Trends into late 2012, they are going to continental zip covers, stay away from pillow tops.  They are looking like more clean designs with fancy covers, even different motifs woven into covers.  I know, they will never be seen with the sheets on the bed, but you have to do something to give your mattress an edge inside the mattress gallery.  Why the clean, fancy designs?  You guessed it!  WOMEN are buying the mattresses or at least have a significant role in the mattress that is chosen.  We are seeing a mattress industry that is catering to what women want.

What do women want in a Mattress?  Women want a smooth, clean, design.  Yes, they want it to look pretty too!  Women understand that the big pillow tops are the cause of many body impressions, thus the trend away from them.  Women want a good solid warranty, just in case.  They are also concerned about heat, so make it cool while you are at it.  DONT forget Hypoallergenic.

This is why you are seeing and will see more mattresses made of Latex.  Latex is a cooler material, Hypoallergenic, and keeps its shape over time.  You are seeing more beds that are advertising cooler mattresses.  You saw it first with Serta's I-Comfort series of Cool mattresses.  Now you are seeing all the key words;  Cool Gel, Moisture Wicking, Climate Control, Cool Comfort.  Tempurpedic has jumped into the coolest game with the development of their version of a cool mattress, The Cloud Supreme Breeze.  You will see more by the end of the year.

Mattress trends are ever evolving and Mattress makers are taking the right steps to satisfy women.  Car manufacturers have known about this for years and have been advertising to women for at least 10 years so it stands to reason that Mattress Manufacturers would follow.
