Select Comfort and the Sleep Number bed probably has one of the best advertising campaigns in the history of selling mattresses. When the guy says, "when you go into other mattress stores and they say firm bed over there-soft beds over there."
They have great advertising and have to have some of the best salespeople in the industry. I can hear the interview now.
Question from interviewer for sleepnumber salesman- Ok, so sell me this ink pen and tell me why i should buy it from you.

All kidding aside, there are sleep number customers that will buy nothing else. It is a great concept that you can select your comfort level when sleeping and your partner can pick theirs. To my knowledge, they are the only bed on the market that has that ability.
